Iinfrared thermography and handheld ultrasound doppler during exercise test
Urbanová, Lucia ; Vlk, Daniel (referee) ; Staffa,, Erik (advisor)
Semester project elaborates theoretical part of bachelor thesis, which is going to process results of measurements performed by infrared thermography and Doppler ultrasonography during physical tests on volunteers. The theoretical part contains basics of infrared thermography, where physical quantities, laws and principles are explained. The basic of Doppler ultrasonography are explained as well. In practical part will be statistically analyzed data measured by a thermal imager and Doppler ultrasonography. Study group of people will form students aged from 18 to 25 years. Thermographic and Doppler measurements will be performed before exercise and after exercise. The aim is to find a correlation between processed data.
Region tracking in ultrasound sequences
Byrtus, David ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Slávik, Vladimír (advisor)
Thesis deals with ultrasonographic contrast examinations, that are performed to assess tissue perfusion and non-invasive ultrasound method speckle tracking, overcoming the weaknesses of Doppler techniques used to scanning the movement of the tissue.
Traffic Doppler Radar
Kulig, Radomír ; Józsa, Ladislav (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This work deals with problematics of speed measurement of an object with a Doppler radar. This radar communicates with other environment through RS232 interface. The complete solution of this Doppler radar is provided in the thesis. There are electrical schemes of all parts and program to control microcontroller in this work. Speed measurements for the radar are summarized in the end of the work.
Application of mathematical methods for object detection in ultrasound B-image
Ruttner, Michal ; Jiřík, Radovan (referee) ; Sedlář, Martin (advisor)
This work deals with the detection of objects in ultrasound B-image. First we will become familiar with the ultrasound device and its functions. We will demonstrate various kinds of imaging techniques used in ultrasound diagnostic imaging. Further we will be concerned with medical image processing. We will describe the functions of some edge detectors based on the first derivation, detectors based on the second derivation, detectors based on approximation of parametric model and detectors of borders or lines. Otherwise we will find out how to do preprocessing, Some of these methods we will try on different images for sharpening of image and enhacment of contoure. Using the program created in MATLAB©, we will use process imaging on internal carotid images. In conclusion we will evaluate the results.
Doppler blood flow indicator
Byrtus, David ; Čech, Petr (referee) ; Rozman, Jiří (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis deals with methods for measuring Doppler velocity and blood flow in non-directional system with unmodulated carrier wave, system design indicator of blood flow for a frequency of 4 MHz ultrasound intensity of 100 mW/cm2 and evaluating methods of Doppler signals.
Localization of a Moving Target using a MIMO Radar System
Šulc, Martin ; Vychodil, Petr (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to estimate parameters of the moving target using different radar configurations. First the Doppler effect and the time delay of the received signal is examined. The investigation of these phenomenons is made for radial and non-radial movement of simple monostatic radar configuration and after that for the bistatic and multistatic MIMO configuration. The ambiguity function is presented for all these configurations. The ambiguity function is then used to estimate target parameters from the received signal. The received signal model and ambiguity function for the monostatic radar configuration is developed using Matlab software. Finally the practical use of these implementations is presented and compared.
Doppler - the hero or the author?
Kováříková, Markéta ; Kupcová, Helena (advisor) ; Sládek, Miloš (referee)
The thesis aims on life and work of contemporary Norwegian writer Erlend Loe, young generation's cult author, specifically his novel Doppler. The purpose is to describe a literary movement called new naivism and to probe into a modern northerner's soul. The thesis also describes the author's specific literary style and looks closely to his particular linguistic means. Uncovers, how important is for Scandinavians a stay in the nature and how closely bound they are to it. Enters the mind of todays northernes and encloses their lifestyle to the reader. Denotes the pitfalls that brings life in consume society. The main aim of the thesis is to insight into the soul of an individual struggling with an identity crisis. Searches the purpose of being in post-modern society, to which he was born in. Loe suggests that the way, how today's society works, might not be right and that there is another way, for instance life in harmony with nature.
